O Amazon Prime Video divulgou o trailer da sua nova série de antologia contemporânea, The Romanoffs, com estreia prevista para a sexta-feira, 12 de outubro. Ela terá episódios inéditos lançados semanalmente, sempre às sextas-feiras. Esta é a primeira série antológica do Amazon Prime Video neste formato semanal. A exibição será com áudio original e legendas e versões dubladas serão disponibilizadas em 2019. The Romanoffs é criada, escrita, dirigida e produzida pelo vencedor de 9 Emmys Matthew Weiner (Mad Men), apresentando oito histórias distintas sobre pessoas que acreditam ser descendentes da família real russa.

Ambientada em sete países ao redor do mundo, The Romanoffs foi filmada em três continentes, e cada história acontece em um novo local com um novo elenco. O primeiro episódio, “The Violet Hour”, é estrelado por Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Ines Melab e Louise Bourgoin e o segundo, “The Royal We”, estrelado por Corey Stoll, Kerry Bishe, Janet Montgomery e Noah Wyle.
